Where are Capsul homes manufactured?
Capsul homes are designed in Chicago and built in our ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facility, with Capsul-employed inspectors physically present on the production floor. Every unit is certified in Capsul's name to your destination market's building code before shipment.
Who supervises quality control?
Capsul's own inspectors — not factory staff, not auditors, not remote reviewers. They're physically present at the facility and sign off every unit at five stages: structural frame, services, finishes, weather seal, and final pre-ship.
What's the warranty?
10-year structural warranty, backed by Capsul directly. Claims come to Capsul — not to a factory you've never met. The warranty covers the structural integrity of the unit.
What materials do you use?
Steel frame, weatherproof external cladding, double-glazed throughout, premium internal joinery and finishes, commercial-grade plumbing and electrical. Spec sheets for each product are on the individual product pages.
Are Capsul homes insulated for cold climates?
Yes — climate-appropriate insulation and HVAC pre-installation are standard. For extreme cold (Scandinavia, Alaska, Northern Canada) or extreme heat (desert, tropical) we engineer site-specific upgrades during the spec phase.
